IoTiq is being designed to connect devices from multiple smart-home ecosystems through one secure, local-first platform. Our compatibility programme verifies device discovery, control, state reporting, automations and connection recovery.
IoTiq’s physical-device verification programme is currently in progress. Most devices listed below have not yet completed hands-on IoTiq lab testing — see the status badge on each entry.
Compatibility Status Legend
Four statuses. No guesswork.
Status is never conveyed by colour alone — every badge carries a text label and an accessible name.
Physically tested with IoTiq, including pairing, device control, state reporting, automations, restart and connection recovery.
Supported by the underlying Zigbee2MQTT or Matter ecosystem. Physical IoTiq verification is still pending.
Core functions work, but some device-specific capabilities may not be available.
Selected for future integration and physical-device testing.
Important: upstream Zigbee2MQTT or Matter support does not automatically mean a device has completed physical testing with IoTiq. Compatibility may also vary by exact model number, firmware, hardware revision and region.

Zigbee Coordinator Requirements
Coordinator hardware, evaluated separately.
IoTiq’s Zigbee integration is designed to work with coordinator hardware supported by Zigbee2MQTT. Initial laboratory candidates include:
- Texas Instruments zStack-based coordinators
- Silicon Labs EmberZNet-based coordinators
- SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus (ZBDongle-P)
- SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus (ZBDongle-E)
Coordinator firmware and configuration requirements may vary. These coordinators are not labelled IoTiq Verified.
What “IoTiq Verified” Means
A ten-step verification process.
A device receives IoTiq Verified status only after completing every step below.
The device is paired and correctly discovered on the network.
The device model and its full capability set are correctly identified.
Every supported command is issued and confirmed to execute correctly.
Device state changes are accurately reported back to the platform.
The device is tested as both an automation trigger and an automation action.
The device is taken offline and confirmed to reconnect and resync correctly.
Device state and control are confirmed to recover after a hub restart.
Device state and control are confirmed to recover after the relevant integration service restarts.
The device is monitored over an extended period for dropped connections or reporting errors.
The exact model, hardware revision and firmware version tested are recorded and published.
Verification applies to the documented model, hardware revision and firmware combination—not automatically to every product sold under a similar name.
