Apple HomeKit processes commands on-device using Siri, with no audio sent to servers for local commands. Josh.ai is designed for privacy too. We can design a fully local voice system with no cloud dependency.
Can I use voice control without smart speakers?+−
Yes. Your phone can handle voice commands without a dedicated smart speaker — we configure this during setup.
What if a family member has an accent or speech difference?+−
Modern voice platforms handle accent variation well. If a household member has difficulty being recognized, we identify the right platform during the assessment.
Can I prevent children from using certain voice commands?+−
Yes. Voice recognition profiles and access restrictions let you limit which commands respond to which household members.
Does voice control work when the internet is down?+−
