UWB precision detects your approach

10x safer
Than standard Bluetooth locks*
*UWB cannot be relay-attacked the way standard Bluetooth locks can.
Why It’s Different
A key you can’t lose. A lock you can’t forget to use.
Smart locks solve the two most common security failures in Canadian homes: doors left unlocked by habit, and keys lost or copied without your knowledge.
Unlocks before you reach the door
Ultra-wideband technology locates your phone to within 30cm. The lock detects your approach and is ready before your hand reaches the handle.
10x more secure than Bluetooth
UWB can’t be relay-attacked like standard Bluetooth locks. The lock knows you’re at the door — not just that your phone is somewhere nearby.
Time-limited codes for every visitor
Grant a cleaner Tuesdays 10am–2pm, a contractor three days, a guest this weekend. Codes expire automatically and can be revoked instantly.
Full access logs
See who entered and when, with a timestamped record for every code used — essential for rental managers, offices and commercial spaces.
Works without internet
The lock operates independently of your internet connection. Codes work offline; Bluetooth is a fallback if UWB is unavailable.
Installs on your existing deadbolt
Most smart locks replace only the interior portion — your exterior hardware and keys remain. Takes 30–60 minutes, no damage to your door frame.

How It Works
A straightforward upgrade,
no damage to your door.
Door & lock assessment
We confirm your door and deadbolt are compatible before ordering. Most standard Canadian doors qualify.
Removal & setup
We remove your existing interior lock hardware and install the smart lock. Your existing keys still work.
App setup & pairing
We pair the lock to your phone. Fingerprint, code and phone-proximity unlock methods are all configured.
Access code setup
We create your initial access codes — household members, regular visitors and any time-limited codes you need.
Security system integration
We connect the lock to your broader system — auto-lock when you leave, auto-unlock when you arrive.
Setup & testing
We test every unlock method with you present and confirm the access log is recording correctly.

FAQ
Common questions.
What if my phone battery dies?+−
You can use a backup PIN code to enter. The lock also has a physical key override. We ensure you always have a fallback method during setup.
Can the lock be hacked?+−
UWB locks are significantly more secure than Bluetooth or Wi-Fi locks — no relay attack is possible. We also configure the lock on a segregated network segment for additional security.
Does it work in cold Canadian winters?+−
Yes. The locks we supply are rated for Canadian climate conditions including sub-zero temperatures. Battery life is monitored through the app with low-battery alerts.
Can I use this in a rental unit I manage?+−
Yes. Smart locks are ideal for rental properties — you retain full control, generate access logs and never need to rekey when a tenant leaves.
Will my strata or building allow this?+−
Most stratas allow smart locks since it’s an interior modification. We recommend confirming with your strata before booking, and can provide documentation if needed.
How much does a smart lock cost in Canada?+−
A single smart lock starts at $450–$750 depending on the model and integration complexity. Multi-door commercial orders are quoted per door.
Can I keep using my physical key?+−
Yes. Smart locks replace the interior mechanism only. Your physical key still works on the exterior deadbolt — we never remove that ability.
Do smart locks require a subscription?+−
Core lock and app functionality does not require a subscription. Optional cloud features like remote access history backup may require an account if you choose to enable them.
