Compatibility Programme
Compatible Devices
Explore smart-home devices being evaluated for the IoTiq ecosystem.
IoTiq connects to devices through Home Assistant, which supports devices from many smart-home ecosystems. Our compatibility programme verifies device discovery, control, state reporting, automations and connection recovery.
IoTiq’s physical-device testing programme is in progress. No device below has completed IoTiq testing yet — see the status label on each entry.
Compatibility Status Legend
Five labels. No guesswork.
Status is never conveyed by colour alone — every badge carries a text label and an accessible name.
An exact model, firmware and Home Assistant version physically tested with IoTiq — pairing, control, state reporting, automations, restart and reconnection — and independently reviewed. No device has this label yet.
Home Assistant discovers the device and IoTiq maps its declared capabilities, confirmed on a real Home Assistant installation. Not physically tested model-by-model. No device has this label yet.
Listed as supported by the Zigbee2MQTT or Matter community, which Home Assistant can use. IoTiq has not tested it yet.
Some capabilities work and others don’t. The listing shows what works, what is limited and what isn’t supported.
Selected for IoTiq testing. This is not a support claim.
Important: community support does not mean a device has been tested with IoTiq. “Works with Home Assistant” describes the IoTiq Connector as a whole, not every device. Compatibility can also vary by exact model number, firmware, hardware revision and region.

Zigbee Coordinator Requirements
Coordinator hardware, evaluated separately.
Zigbee devices join Home Assistant through a Zigbee coordinator supported by ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT. Coordinators we plan to test first:
- Texas Instruments zStack-based coordinators
- Silicon Labs EmberZNet-based coordinators
- SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus (ZBDongle-P)
- SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus (ZBDongle-E)
Coordinator firmware and configuration requirements may vary. These coordinators are not labelled IoTiq Verified.
What “IoTiq Verified” Means
A ten-step verification process.
A device receives IoTiq Verified status only after completing every step below.
The device is paired and correctly discovered on the network.
The device model and its full capability set are correctly identified.
Every supported command is issued and confirmed to execute correctly.
Device state changes are accurately reported back to the platform.
The device is tested as both an automation trigger and an automation action.
The device is taken offline and confirmed to reconnect and resync correctly.
Device state and control are confirmed to recover after Home Assistant or the IoTiq Connector restarts.
Device state and control are confirmed to recover after the relevant integration service restarts.
The device is monitored over an extended period for dropped connections or reporting errors.
The exact model, hardware revision and firmware version tested are recorded and published.
Verification applies to the documented model, hardware revision and firmware combination—not automatically to every product sold under a similar name.
