Do outdoor smart lights work in Canadian winters?+−
Yes. We only install fixtures rated for Canadian climate conditions, including sub-zero temperatures, heavy rain and snow — no consumer-grade fixtures.
Will the motion floodlight trigger on passing cars?+−
We configure motion zones to cover your property, not the street. A car on the road shouldn’t trigger your floodlight unless it enters your driveway.
Can outdoor lights integrate with my security cameras?+−
Yes, this is one of the most valuable integrations. A detected intruder triggers the floodlight, illuminating the area for the camera and deterring the person.
Do I need an electrician for outdoor lighting?+−
For new fixtures requiring new circuits, yes — new wiring must be done by a licensed electrician per your provincial code. We coordinate this when required and include it in your quote.
Can I control the lights remotely when on vacation?+−
Yes. All outdoor lighting is controllable from your phone, and you can set vacation mode to cycle lighting randomly to simulate occupancy.
