Why It’s Different
The goal is independence. The technology makes it safer.
Most elderly Canadians want to stay in their own home for as long as possible. Our senior care package doesn’t move them into a facility or require a wearable — it watches quietly and calls you when something matters.
No camera in the bedroom or bathroom
A camera in a private space is an unacceptable invasion of privacy. mmWave radar detects position and posture without any image.
No wearable to forget or misplace
Our radar-based system is passive — it works the moment it’s powered on, whether or not your parent is wearing anything.
Fall detection, instant family alert
A sudden drop to floor level followed by no movement triggers an immediate phone notification to designated family contacts.
Activity monitoring for peace of mind
Daily pattern tracking — kitchen visited, bedroom occupied, morning routine normal — gives family confidence the day is on track.
Extended stillness & wellness alerts
If your parent hasn’t left their bedroom by their usual time, you receive a gentle wellness check notification.
Works alongside existing care
Supplements rather than replaces existing care — real-time peace of mind for family without requiring your parent to change anything.

How It Works
Discreet placement,
tested with family contacts.
Home & routine assessment
We visit the home, understand the daily routine and identify the highest-risk rooms and scenarios to monitor.
Sensor placement
Sensors mounted discreetly — they don’t look like medical devices and residents adjust quickly to their presence.
Threshold configuration
Fall detection sensitivity, stillness timing and activity thresholds set based on the resident’s normal routine.
Family contact setup
Alert recipients configured — family members, caregivers or both. Each receives a test notification before setup is complete.
Activity baseline
We establish a normal activity baseline for the resident so alerts trigger on genuine deviations, not normal variation.
30-day review
We check in at 30 days to confirm thresholds are correctly calibrated and adjust any false or missed alerts.

FAQ
Common questions.
Can my parent disable or turn off the sensor?+−
The sensor has no user-facing controls — it operates passively in the background, intentionally. Our team can discuss appropriate boundaries with you before you order.
Does the system record anything?+−
No. mmWave radar produces no recording, audio or image. It detects position, posture and movement patterns only — nothing to review, only real-time alerts.
How does the system know what’s a normal day?+−
Over the first two weeks, the system establishes a baseline of normal activity patterns. Alerts trigger on deviations from that baseline.
What happens if my parent visits family for a few days?+−
You can activate away mode from the app, suppressing activity-based alerts. Fall detection stays active in case someone else is in the home.
Is this a substitute for professional home care?+−
No. It’s a safety supplement — it gives family visibility and alerts but doesn’t replace the judgment or assistance of professional caregivers.
How much does a senior care system cost in Canada?+−
A single-room system runs $400–$650. A multi-room setup covering bedroom, bathroom and kitchen runs $800–$1,400.
Is there an ongoing monthly fee?+−
Core functionality does not require a subscription. An optional support plan is available for ongoing help and updates.
Can this be used in a care facility?+−
Yes. We supply presence and fall detection systems in small care facilities and assisted living suites — contact us for facility-scale orders.
