Why People Use It

A sleep tracker only works if you remember to wear it.

Nothing to remember.

The sensor sits under the mattress and works every night, whether you remember it or not.

Trends, not just totals.

Heart rate and breathing rate trends show how your nights change over weeks.

A bedroom that responds.

With the couple setup, lights dim at bedtime and come up gently in the morning.

2. It measures through the night

Movement, heart rate and breathing rate, every night you sleep there.

  • Sensor: a thin under-mattress pad that measures movement, heart rate and breathing rate; powered from an outlet.
  • Processing: sleep stages and trends are calculated by the sensor maker’s cloud service, not on a device in your home.
  • Couple setup: one sensor per side of the bed, each linked to its own person.
  • Integration: in bed and out of bed events can trigger Home Assistant automations, such as lights and temperature, in the couple setup.
  • Health use: wellness information only. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose any condition.
  • App: today, reports use the sensor maker’s app. The IoTiq app is in early access and is not required.

Four questions to think about before you order

Not sure? That’s fine — we check them with you during the free assessment.

How many people sleep in the bed?Couples need one sensor per side.

What kind of mattress is it?Most mattresses work; very thick toppers can affect readings.

Is there an outlet near the bed?The sensor plugs in.

Are you comfortable with cloud processing?Sleep analysis happens in the sensor maker’s service.

Privacy & data handling

Sleep data — movement, heart rate and breathing rate — is sent to the sensor maker’s cloud service for analysis, which is different from most IoTiq systems. We confirm in writing what is shared and where it is stored before you order, and you can delete your history in the maker’s app. No cameras or microphones are involved. How IoTiq handles data →
